Dolomites Outdoor

A holiday in Sexten/Sesto means experiencing the Dolomites up close.

Hiking, climbing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing, the 3 Zinnen Dolomites area offers the best conditions for numerous outdoor activities.

Summer
The mountains call! So let’s go out!

Located at the entrance to the Fiscalina valley, numerous hikes lead from our suites directly into the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage site. How about, for example, the popular Sexten/Sesto hut tour, which offers an excellent view of the Cima Undici, Dodici and Uno peaks and the famous Drei Zinnen/Tre Cime, the landmark of Hochpustertal/Alta Pusteria. Our in-house hiking guide will be happy to accompany you. The selection of walks, mountain tours and via ferrata is almost endless here and mountain bikers can also enjoy themselves on a wide variety of trails. From easier bike tours for the whole family, such as from Moos/Moso to the Talschlusshütte/Rifugio Fondovalle, to more strenuous day tours, for example over the mountain Helm to Austria and back, our guests are spoiled for choice. E-bike rental and valuable tips and maps are at your disposition in the house.

Winter
Ski-in/Ski-out and fresh mountain air included.

The 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area right on the doorstep offers 115 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes of various levels of difficulty. The Holzriese slope on the Croda Rossa is one of the steepest in South Tyrol and is not for the faint of heart. Those who prefer to stay in the valley will find pleasure in the Dolomites Nordicski cross-country network, which also runs right in front of our house. Whether it be ski tours, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, tobogganing or ice skating, numerous winter sports activities ensure a varied holiday. Our ski rental in the adjacent Family Resort Rainer, where you can rent your winter sports equipment and store it in our own ski depot, ensures uncomplicated sports fun. Our in-house ski instructor, cross-country ski instructor and hiking guide will accompany you on guided tours upon request.

Spring & autumn
Pure nature far from the hustle and bustle.

A feeling of freedom that comes upon you. Sexten Moos/Sesto Moso is not only an ideal holiday destination in summer and winter, but offers very special holiday moments in the quieter seasons as well. The silence of nature can be perceived even better at this time and helps to focus on the essentials. Whether you are walking across mountain meadows in spring, some of which are still covered with snow, or reaching the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites through golden larch forests in autumn, the natural landscape around Sexten/Sesto gives you wonderful, clear views and plenty of places to make a pause. The Paramount Alma is already open from mid-May and offers a stylish retreat to those seeking peace and quiet.
